"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16
As a church we are a small, close-knit family that strives to be what Jesus created His Church to be. We strive to be faithful to the Bible in everything, placing the greatest priority on the Word of God as His primary means of spreading His grace to this world which Jesus came to save. Jesus has instituted and commanded that we observe two additional means of His grace together with the Word, the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper. We joyfully observe these commands of Jesus because through these simple, incarnational and tangible things He continually gives the gift of His undeserved favor to His people. We are proud to be a member congregation in the Church of the Lutheran Brethren of America.
We are in agreement with the Statement of Faith of the National Association of Evangelicals, and we take great joy in the fact that we are a part of the global Body of Christ. In matters of doctrine we hold to the The Apostles' Creed, Nicene and Athanasian Creeds, the unaltered Augsburg Confession, and Luther's Small Catechism as we believe these are in line with the Holy Scriptures. In worship we are non-liturgical, and we maintain a casual atmosphere in nearly all of our gatherings. For more please read our Statement of Faith.
